Ms. Benson and Mr. Ochoa

I've decided that for the rest of my college career (which, mind you, is only about 6 more weeks), I'm going to make one of the main focuses of tateblog be Ms. Kerry Benson and my Principles of Public Relations class. That class is so great, I actually started taking down notes of things today that I specifically wanted to write about right now. Justin would say, "Tate you're a nerd." Fine. Whatever. But you know you like it. So here we go.

First off, she walks into class today in what I would call a very elaborate Cleopatra costume and when everyone laughs she says, "What? It's halloween!" She probably won person of the day right there.


So early on in class she of course looks up in my row and congratulates Mr. Ochoa for the win the other day. He says thanks and she says, "Way to wing the pig." Yeah...what? She was really proud of herself because she heard some sports person say that and she had been planning on saying it to Ochoa today in class. Oh, and don't worry Jub, I gave him some pointers, but I have yet to get around to asking him which quaterback's hands feel best on his butt when he hikes the ball. That sentence is all kinds of awkward, so let's just move on.

Today in class we were analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of Brittany Spears. And somebody said Brittany Spears is trashy and Benson said, "The trash factor can be a strength AND a weakness." The trash factor. Good stuff. She also listed on the board under Brittany's weaknesses, excuse the language, "dumb ass." I don't really like to hear people cuss, but I don't usually mind when it comes from Kerry Benson. Or when Chris Rock calls people the b word in The Longest Yard. Now that's just funny.

Ochoa (under his breath): "Prove that."

Ochoa: "I feel like I'm in a dream when I'm in this class." Good call Mr. Ochoa. A very good dream. Let's date....I mean, what? I hope David Ochoa reads my blog someday and finds out about my weird small obsession with him.

That's all for now because I have to take a nap because I was up late again kicking the crap out of Jub in Boggle. But soon I will write about what a sweet weekend it was. Oh man, da bomb. Bye.
